uses end-to-end encryption for all messages. Encryption keys are generated and stored locally on your devices. We cannot access the content of your encrypted messages.
Media files in encrypted chats are encrypted before upload. In non-encrypted chats, media is protected by transport encryption (TLS) and stored with AES-256 encryption.
