Common Issues

Not Receiving Messages

  • Check internet connection
  • Verify notification permissions in device settings
  • Restart the app
  • Check if contact has blocked you

Can't Log In

  • Verify phone number/email is correct
  • Check for verification code in SMS or email
  • Ensure date/time on device is set automatically
  • Try "Forgot Password" if using email login

Messages Not Syncing

  • Ensure all devices are on latest app version
  • Check linked devices in Settings → Linked Devices
  • Unlink and relink problematic devices
  • Contact support if issue persists

Lost Encryption Keys

Warning: If you lose encryption keys and have no backup, cannot recover your encrypted messages.

  • Check Settings → Encryption → Key Backup
  • Use recovery phrase if you created one
  • Ask contacts to re-send important messages

Is free?

Yes, core messaging features are free. Optional premium features may be offered in the future.

Which platforms are supported?

iOS, Android, and desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Can I use without a phone number?

Yes, you can register with an email address.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.

Does have access to my messages?

No. End-to-end encryption ensures only you and your recipients can read messages.

How do I report spam or abuse?

Long-press a message → Report. Or contact with details.
